The Stubborn Girl Who Always Needs

I absolutely HATE asking for help with something! Especially if its something most people know how to do. Can you say pride issues? I’ve gotten better at it over the years though. I have learned that I have more struggles than most. I am good at some things and not so good at others. And that’s what makes me unique. Getting to a point of asking so many questions led me toward total surrender in Christ. I’ve been learning to COMPLETELY rely on God for everything. And since I need help in a lot of areas and struggle with some things, I have to adjust my life and sometimes be patient for the best opportunities. I’m not going to college and I don’t have a job right now. But I’m not helpless. Like the name of my blog, disabled doesn’t mean helpless. I just have more needs and more questions than most people. And God is the ultimate Provider and He will provide for my needs when He sees fit. Yes of course I sometimes (okay, quite often) get impatient with God! I’m so glad God doesn’t ever get tired of our complaining! Ironically I’m currently listening to my music on shuffle and the song that just came up is ‘While I’m Waiting’ by John Waller. Waiting on God is hard. But God also calls us to praise Him. “But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” -Matthew 6:33 “Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you.” -1 Peter 5:6
