My Top 5 Songs

Thought it would be fun to share something from this year that I really enjoyed. Then I thought, "Music! Who doesn't love music?!" Below are my top 5 favorite songs of 2016, in no particular order of preference, but by the date in which each song was released. Hope you all enjoy!

1.) Can't Stop The Feeling! - Justin Timberlake (released: May 6, 2016)

Released for the movie Trolls, which was also released this year, this song is a fun, upbeat, and catchy tune, that personally makes me want to dance every time I hear it...and yes, I will dance to it in my wheelchair if I have to...I've really only heard it in my car...

2.) The Greatest - Sia ft. Kendrick Lamar (released: September 5, 2016)

This song not only makes you realize that Sia can do no wrong with her music, but it also makes you want to go out and be the best version of yourself you can be!

3.) Sit Still, Look Pretty - Daya (released: October 7, 2016)

At only 18 years old, this talented and inspiring singer makes me want to be her when I grow up - and I am two years older, LOL! She is a great role model for females, and this song in particular, shows girls and women of all ages, that we are so much more than just "trophy wives" and that we don't need a man to fulfill us!

4.) Shout Out To My Ex - Little Mix (released: November 18, 2016)

November 18 was a good day for U.K. girl group Little Mix. Not only did they release a song that day...They released an entire album called Glory Days. The first single off the album, is an anthem, not only for women, but for anyone who has ever had their heart broken, but it's not your typical heartbreak song. This is another fun and upbeat song that lets all who have ever been through a break up know that they will come out of it stronger, and happier people than ever before! Even I, who did not go through a breakup this year, found myself 'shouting out' to anyone who has ever done me wrong!

5.) 24K Magic - Bruno Mars (released: November 18, 2016)

November 18 was also a good day for Bruno Mars, who made yet another comeback - if that's really what we can call it - on this day. My favorite new song of his: 24K Magic. Like Justin Timberlake's new song [listed above] this song is just a feel good kind of song, and personally puts me in a good/dancing mood whenever I hear it...This one I actually have danced to in my wheelchair!
