Hello everyone ! My name is Mark Hendrickson. I was about 1 years old when I was diagnosed with Juvenile Arthritis. I wore knee braces and went to my local hospital for therapy. My parents started therapy treatments at home.
Mostly my knees and left ankle were my problem areas. At the age of 17 I had bad pains in my knees and was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis. In the last 5 years, my ankle was so bad that I had no more cartilage in the ankle due to Arthritis. I had to have an ankle fusion over a year ago.
I have Arthritis in both of my knees and ankles. I also have Arthritis in my left elbow. I take Naproxen for pain and arthritis medicine twice a day. For those of you who are going through Arthritis like myself or a different disability, I have some advice that may be able to help you .Think positive and never feel sorry for your self. Always have God and family in your life.
