Eric Races On!!

Eric Saunders has raced Motocross for Tony Stewart since he was the age of 6 years old. On August 28th, 2010 the day before his birthday, Eric was paralyzed in a motocross crash from the chest down.

Eric was in Indianapolis in rehab and intensive care for 10 weeks. We brought home him home and all we knew was our family was involved in racing. We didn't know what to do. We met a gentleman by the name of Ed Kenned at a model race track south of us about 20 miles and he told us “ That we were going to be his eyes and ears to oversee it”.

In 2013, Eric got back in a car with hand controls in a mini spread. Since that day , he's won numerous features and now this past year won the National Championship in sprint cars running hand controls still driving for NASCAR driver and owner Tony Stewart
